New Zealand wins first match of series

Earlier in the day, Indian batting misfired with Gambhir, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj and Dhoni all bowled out for single digits with a strike rate less than 100. Shewag and Raina displayed one of the best batting shots.

India 162 for 8, Kiwis lose first wicket

India scored 162 for the loss of 8 wickets in the first T20 game being played in NZ. Kiwi captain Vettori won the toss and gave India the chance to bat in very cold conditions. The Kiwis, as far had scored 8 runs in 2.4 overs at the loss of 1 wicket.

‘New look’ for team India

In the past, the Indian ODI outfits have been changed to different shades of blue. The team donned dark blue in 1992, soon moved to sky blue in the next decade. The men now will be in a different shade of blue, which will be team’s new one day kit.
